Stress
management is an integral part of good health. While many sources of stress such as
personal and family relationships, financial and legal matters, and dependent care issues,
are beyond the reach of employers, an employee sponsored Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
can help.
FSIA offers the Health
Resources' Employee Assistance Plan (EAP). This program provides employees, dependent
family members, and managers with an opportunity to discuss personal difficulties with a
trained licensed physician. The program is confidential, free of charge to employees, and
available 24 hours per day.
Accessed by calling an
"800" line, staff EAP clinicians are available to consult over the telephone, as
well as meet in person at our office in Boston. In addition these licensed psychologists
and social workers are on call 24-hours a day to respond to emergencies. Beyond
metro-Boston, services are provided by Health Resources' extensive network of EAP
affiliates. All network affiliates are doctoral-level psychologists and
masters-level social workers specially qualified to provide EAP services. |
